Deepika Padukone was thrilled from this initiative and showered her love by sharing their photos on Instagram. She wrote, “It was heartening to see them wear their vision of my Cannes and MET Gala outfits for the pride parade march in Vadodara. I came across some pictures of them, and they looked absolutely stunning.”
Deepika wore a crystal-studded rose pink gown by Zac Posen for the Met Gala 2019. She complimented the look with an updo and finished it with winged eyeliner and dark lips. We can’t get enough of Deepika’s Barbie look, and the LGBTQ members were no step behind from recreating this marvelous look.
Following that Deepika wore a lime green tulle gown by Giambattista Valli Couture with a mile-long train and a soft pink bow and belt. She completed the look with a bold Emily-London headband. Deepika wore a lot of designers, but that gown was etched in our minds because of the mile-long tulle train. Along with the dress, she accessorized it with Stuart Weitzman sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Actress Deepika Padukone has shown her support for the LGBTQ community throughout the pride month. She even had a rainbow-colored cake made for her husband Ranveer Singh’s birthday, to show her support for the community. Other than the LGBTQ rights, Deepika has openly spoken about the importance of mental health and is the founder of Live Love Laugh foundation.
